This monument stands in tribute to Franz Liszt, the great Hungarian composer, pianist and conductor during the Romantic era of the 19th century. The monument is fairly simple. It features a bronze bust of Liszt from his upper torso up. It depicts the composer in his later years, with long hair parted in the middle and falling to either side and covering his ears. The face of Liszt has a dignified expression, looking to the right with a slight smile on his face. The bust can be found at the bottom of the grounds of St. Martin's Cathedral at the retaining wall. There are several monuments and busts in this area of the old town, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to see it unless you have time.

Just boring statue
Busto dedicato al famoso compositore, direttore d'orchestra, nonché organista e pianista di origine ungherese Franz Liszt, noto anche per essere stato suocero di Richard Wagner. Figura di spicco del periodo romantico della seconda metà dell'800, fu molto attivo tra Vienna, Parigi e Roma. Il busto a sua memoria si trova in una piacevole piazzetta verde, un poco defilata dalle strade più battute dai turisti, luogo che spesso viene usato per manifestazioni e piccoli concerti, a due passi dal Duomo di San Martino. @gargio76

Bratislava Buste de Frantz Liszt avec les premières notes de la messe hongroise du couronnement sur la portée musicale servant de grille de jardin. Cet endroit est trop souvent oublié et c'est bien regrettable . On respire un brin de nostalgie à l'ombre des arbres de ce minuscule jardinet.
A kis térről a Szent Márton-dómhoz vezető lépcső jobb oldalán, szorosan a fal mellett, két fa árnyékban található. A mellszobor előtti vasrácsos kerítésen hangjegyek, a Koronázási mise első öt taktusa látható, melyet 1884. február 25-én Pozsonyban, Heiller Károly püspök, belvárosi plébános és az Egyházzenei Egylet elnökének ötven éves papi jubileumán maga Liszt vezényelt.
Бюст знаменитого венгерского композитора Франца (в венгерском варианте Ференц) Листа установлен у внешних стен собора Святого Мартина. Именно в этом соборе Франц проводил все коронационные службы в 1884 г. Судьба венгерского композитора тесно связана с Братиславой. На протяжении многих лет он жил, творил и работал здесь. В столице Словакии помимо бюста Листу есть площадь, некогда одна из улиц также носила имя композитора (ныне улица Чайковского - 2012 года).
