El Gaucho has excellent steak and wine. The service is efficient and effective. My only criticism is that the steaks are overpriced and additional side such as French fries are not included and are also overpriced. Put simply it is a tourist trap with excellent steak.

Very good service, the waiters were informative, patient, and respectful. The food was delicious and the waiting time was alright. Great first time in Bratislava, would go back for their steaks.
Great meal for 10 euro -burger incl fries and soup. The waiter Michael was great. Fantastic customer service. Unfortunately was disappointed when he wasn’t there as the other clown stuffed it all up from the first minute and his customer service was poor to say the least.
This is a fine steak house in the heart of old town in Bratislava. It is not cheap but when is a good steakhouse ever cheap! Four of us ordered their Tomahawk steak and it was delicious! The meat nearly melted in your mouth! The sautéed spinach was very good and be sure to try the salsiccha sausage that the make in house. You will be happy that you came here. The ambiance is nice and the food is great!
I expected the atmosphere to be better and the service also better. The starter was great but the main course which was steak was very salty and the burger that my friend ordered was oily. I couldn’t even eat the steak and for the value what we paid we could’ve had a much better experience somewhere else. When I thanked the waiter for everything but just that the steak was a bit too salty he didn’t seem to care at all and just took our plates and left.
Good service and meat quality. In comparison with other restaurants from the El Gaucho chain, this one is a bit overpriced, but the quality is there.
The reviews were great so I decided to try this place. We ordered 2 steaks , a rib eye and prime rib, the flavor and appearance were bad. Not worth the money.
