That a old but huge hotel near to city area. Staff are warm welcome. Breakfast was good lot of variety Room all are pretty clean and tidy Coach parking are available beside the hotel That no mini market beside hotel Bar n restaurants is available at the hotel but close at midnight. My wife and I stayed here for 4 days during the Nova Rock music festival. The reception staff were excellent and answered all our questions in English without problems. The room is great. And the bed and pillows are the best I've ever had in any hotel. Breakfast is self service and was good, the coffee and tea selection was also great. And lastly the pool and spa are a great addition to staying there.
Don't judge this hotel by the outside. Inside its beautiful. 99% of the staff are wonderful and helpful, its just a pity one or two from the kitchen staff were very rude, like the female cook who said 'she doesn't have time to cook' when people were complained half way through breakfast everything was gone (see pics) or the waitress who's excuse for everything being gone was because 'guests are greedy and take more than one item'. Besides those two, the other staff were great. There was a little confusion over the city tax and I was over charged, but I've since found the rules about it and had a refund. For those that don't know, only adults pay the city tax, not children. It's 1.70 per adult per night. So be prepared that you be asked for this on arrival and there will be no mention before that. I would stay here again, but I would not pay to have breakfast included. Just 5 minutes walk outside there are hundred's of magnificent coffee shops and bakeries (literally, walk out of the hotel to the path, turn right and walk to the crossing. Cross and walk for 5 minutes).
Having food in hotel restaurant was a great experience.
The room was ok, could use some renovation. The staff was everywhere nice and friendly. Recomended for the breakfast. Not so nice location, not in a walking distance to the inner town. In the bathroom there was a scary mark on the toilet, where it connected to the wall. i had a fear that it was going to collapse, but luckily it stayed in place. Sorry, does not show on the photos well, hopefully an exceptional issue only. Never tried the restaurant, but breakfast had a good variety and there were slight changes in the offer from day to day. Funny, that they had many of those large tables, very few "singles" tables, so you end up having one or two new companions for breakfast every day.
Hotel rooms are ok and staff fue Edit, but giving only 3 stars as breakfast needs to be improved as it’s overcrowded and without enough variety expected for this hotel level
