We came to la cava Barcelona as a gift for my partner's birthday. As a guy who usually sticks to steaks and beer I was not sure what to expect, my partner who has travelled extensively tried to prepare me for the kinds of food served there. We were served by Constantin and as a guy who as also worked in the service business in Bratislava I can say he was one of the most professional, well informed, courteous and helpful waiter I've ever had. We explained our inexperience in Mediterranean / Spanish cuisine and he helped pick some absolutely fabulous dishes, we both tried everything and were extremely impressed with all selections Constantin was also kind enough to help us select a paired wine which matched our food choices exactly. For anyone visiting Bratislava or any locals looking for a change of pace and lovely welcome into fine dining - La Cava Barcelona has my 100% recommendation and its sure we will visit again many times to try more and more of the various dishes on the menu. My hats off to the chef and staff. What a wonderful and upmost pleasant experience.

La Cava Barcelona is a very cozy restaurant with great decor. The waitress is very attentive, polite and friendly. Food is ok- seafood paela only had one prawn in the middle and not much seafood inside. The steak was very undercooked for my partner, even tho we asked for it to bee medium/well done (i think they just ignored that request).
Cosy Spanish tapas restaurant in the old city of Bratislava. The tapas have a gourmet touch more in the direction of a fine dining. Service was perfect and very friendly.
Restaurant with good mediterranian menu. Quolity vs price is very good. Service correct. Also have kitchen open after 10 PM that in this city is really difficult to find. Good place to make afterwork business dinner.
A special place close to Old Town Bratislava. Delicious Spanish tapas with a twist. Very authentic place with quality products. Staff super friendly. My favorite dishes are the Tartar (beef/salmon) and the Tortilla de Patata with a poached egg

Authentic tapas places with friendly staff, great food options and amazing wines. By Bratislava standards it's quite pricey, but worth every Euro. The tapas dishes were bigger than expected, so you can have a satisfying meal with 2-3 of them.
