How to put it.... One can think that a sushi place in the middle of Slovakia will be mediocre, can be pleasantly surprised to have his taste buds dance with joy because he just ate the best damn sushi ever! I had the pleasure to eat sushi all over the world and Alto Sushi is so far, on top of my list. Not sure where they get their fish, but for a country that's land locked, it was EXTREMELY fresh.

very nice and classy. the waiters are well dressed and very pleasant, and the food is great. i loved the dessert - fried coconut balls with sorbet.

Nice sushi in Liptovský Mikuláš. Place is pretty small, so be warned, might be full by the time you are in the mood for sushi. They still do takeaway so you can easily enjoy it in the nearby park. Also good tea options!

Aggressive and the offensive waiter. We did not check the food here, because the extremely rude waiter scared us off. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Very good miso soup and sushi. The service is a bit slow and the menu is in Slovak only. The main reason I rate this place 3/5 is because it's very expensive, namely, every sauce and extras (mayo, ginger, etc..) and even plain water cost around 1.5 euros

Small & causy place with taste of Japan in Liptov. Nice & tasty food, good choice, also for vegetarians.
