Very nice skansen, parking maybe 400metres from entrance. Several playgrounds for children, free roaming sheep, restaurant (we didnt try) souvenir shops, buffet. The train goes only short distance due to the track repair, but the kids were happy even with that. The cottages are distributed in the forrest, nice walk from one to another, there are descriptions in several languages, nice exhibitions of the life in the past. We enjoyed the trip, and would reccomend to anyone who is interested in history.

Lots to see and do. Loads of different types of houses and they have different layouts inside. The are play grounds for the children around the park. Good food served there. The train ride is fun too. Signs in Slovak and English.

The railway is short but nice. My advice is to walk beside the railway track until you will find the old steam locomotive.

I love such place and this one certainly did not disappoint me :) You can learn a lot about life in the 19th and 20th century. There is a great restaurant inside the museum, do not miss it, it is very authentic.

Good excursion into typical Slovak villages / houses and way of living in the past in this region. Not too large, but nicely placed in the woods. Description of houses etc. in 3-5 languages so feasible for foreign tourists as well.
