Interesting place accessible only by ship. I recommend to take a ship from Harbor 2 as you dont need to pay for access to island compared to harbor 1. At the end it was not that expensive 90 minutes (30 on island) trip.

Very nice place with specific. Calm, abandoned but you can feel like inhabitants left it only few weeks ago. And the boat trip itself is nice. Entrance fee to the Island is included in the boat fare.
Slanicky island is realy magical. 30 minutes is too short time for this place. Must see it definitely. :)
If you choose wrong boat you have to pay another 1 eur to be able to enter the island

amazing place
Čarovné miesto, určite sa oplatí prejsť si celý ostrov nie len kostol. Po príchode na ostrov Vám sprievodkyňa povie pár krátkych viet k histórii výstavby priehrady a zatopených dedín. Je škoda, ze z kostola sa stala galéria, jeho pôvodný stav z fotiek je krásny.
