One of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia. And certainly the most beautiful of the northern part. Remembering the times of the 13th century, erected on a rocky hill, it will take us back to the old days with every step we take there. We have an amazing atmosphere, location and rich interiors that perfectly show pictures of medieval times.

It is very interesting and big castle. If you want to see everything in the castle you need at least 3 hours. You have two options to visit there one is big tour and the other one they called small tour. My reccomendation is select big one. Sometimes you are deeply feeling like you are living in that time in the castle. Inside the castle so many things you can find it about the history of the castle and also Slovakia.At the top of the castle the view of the town and landscape is so good.
Amazing castle positioning, way up on the cliff edge. Spectacular scenery all around with fabulous local food and beer to match. Definitively worth a turn off the highway and having a look. There is a ticket required to go up and see the castle inside.

Beautiful, charismatic castle with interesting historical collections. Full tour takes approximately 2 hours. Be prepared for lots of steps , but it is definitely worth the effort. Not for children buggy. Parking 3 minutes from castle.
Very nice castle, I would like to see more interesting things inside, it looked a bit poor in regards of traditional old things. The views were nice. We had standard sightseeing for 7 / adult.
What a fantastic castle! Lying on a high rock, provides great views of the surrounding area. Also the chambers are well preserved, with many old pieces of furniture. Beware of slithering snakes on a stone path to the castle gate:)
