Good for kids
Well, either bike or hike, definitely worth the visit. Forget about driving by car, this area requires a special permit, because it's a drinking water source for a nearby reservoir. And if you love astronomy, don't forget your equipment, the skies here belong to the darkest in the EU. Book your stay well in advance, if you don't plan to camp. Don't underestimate the hills here, they appear to be not that demanding, but the weather can change quite swiftly and believe me, you don't want to find yourselves in the middle of nowhere with phone battery down to 5%, the coverage is sparse and signal strength varies from full to none, so your phone battery will be drained in no time. Beware of bears :) Anyways, I love it here. The Poloniny National Park is the least known in Slovakia.

Dvojhodinova prechádzka z Runiny, ak je po daždi pripravte sa na blato
Zlá voda v studničke . Čím ďalej tým viac áut a nielen osobných . Ťaží sa tam drevo každým rokom viac a viac .
Východiskové miesto pre cyklo túry. Doľava smerom na Ruské sedlo a do Poľska alebo na hrebeň Polonín, doprava do Runiny, resp. opäť na hrebeň a na Pľašu a Ďurkovec, Riabu skalu a Kremenec, poprípade aj ďalej do Poľka na Veľkú a Malú Rawku.
Bol som tu raz ,tiež ma prekvapili pseudo stavby . Máme zákony a máme výnimky zo zákonov!
