Very rude and obnoxious staff. I was almost not allowed on the boat because instead of having a passport I had my resident permit card (which is my standard form of personal identification for europe) and the ticket guy did not approve. Was very rude ripping my ticket out of my hand. I will not be taking this very expensive boat ride again. Save yourself the money and take a relaxing train ride instead where you won't be harassed.
Peaceful scenic ride on the Danube to Vienna. Not badly priced. Same as train, although bus is cheaper
From bratislava to Vienna by boat...do not waste more time and get on the boat!
