I would give a zero if possible. No language skills. No social skills. Very aggressive police who don’t wear masks properly. I know it’s impossible to avoid these kind of people right now. Take my advice and have a shot of a strong drink ready for the end of this horrendous encounter. They are the kind of people who exactly besmirches this otherwise lovely country. Velmi skoda

I am happy with my latest visit to the foreign police - I had reservation from the online booking system, so I was called in right on time and within 15 mins I was on my way home. And as I went on a Thursday when only people with reservations are processed, it was a really quiet and calm environment. Nothing like the chaos of before when I needed to queue for hours. I spoke in Slovak, so not sure how is the current situation for non-Slovak speakers.

I was there the 21.12.2018 arrived in the morning at 7:20h (opens at 7:30h). Already there were 32 people before me standing in line. A helpful policeman gave each person a number from the machine after asking what they are here for. To many people he gave the wrong ticket, including me. After 3.5 hours of waiting my number came up. Went inside and the lady told me I had the wrong ticket. So I had to wait another half hour until they called me back in to the right colleague. Everything went smooth after I was at the right person. Please be aware that the foreign police don't speak English. I speak fluently Slovak so it went smooth but there were two guys who did not speak Slovak at all and they had massive problems. The clerk refused to handle his request because he did not speak Slovak. I was inside with them and heard the conversation between the policemen. Please if you don't speak Slovak hire yourself a translator. You need one! believe me. They refuse to speak English. I know its weird but its the reality. Second, go as early as you can and be prepared to wait for at least 3 hours in a very small room with 30 people. In the waiting room you will find a restroom and a machine that sells the tickets with which you pay the fees. Accepts only cards, no cash allowed. If you don't have a card to pay with you need to go to the post office.

Awful, bureaucratic nightmare. No appointments possible, just standing in line for hour after hour. If you don't get seen before lunch, or they stop for the day: too bad. Try again a few days later... Grumpy Police, who hate to speak English. Only open 2.5 days a week. Just embarrassing for Slovakia.
