The Camping site was alright but the owner was quite rude (she told us to stay away from her because Austria has more COVID cases). And a day for her is from 2 pm to 10 am and you need to leave at 10 am. We didn’t even have to leave a hotel that early. And for a camping site it’s unbelievable to leave that early. She couldn’t even do basic high school math (5*364) and calculate the price right (we paid already for two nights) and then had to come to us for the rest of the money. The bathroom were old and the showers cost 0,50. There wasn’t a sink for dishwashing and the water was cold. On the beach were two jet skis and a boat that were constantly driving around. Therefore it was constantly loud because of the echoing. And the main road leads above the camping site and the whole night there was a constant stream of cars. And on top of that at 6 o’clock in the morning there was a truck picking up wood for an hour. It woke us all up and we decided to leave and not stay for another night. As we went to the owner (an middle aged woman) and told her we were leaving, she told us that we were “making things up”. And that she can’t give us back our money, because of the rules she wrote. And she told us that because of the “corona” (she meant Covid-19) she didn’t have any money and she would have to pay from her own pocket. We had to write on a pice of paper why we didn’t want to stay and we had to sign it. The after a lot of complaining, she gave us back our money. On every other camping site we have been on there was never any problem like this and nobody was as rude as she was. To summarize: -The owner is rude and ignorant -The camping site was alright -The facilitates were run down and old -It was constantly loud -You have to leave the camping site at 10 am -And she should learn that the customer is always right.

Very nice place to stay with friends or with family, also with children. Not expensive - 16 EUR for 2 people with car in the own tent.

Extra charge for shower ist NOT ok, situation in general is less good than 13days experience in Poland. We needed to stop here because of illness, but no recommendation. Actually we are beeing informed about the music preferences of less educated guests.

The only positive thing is biew over the Orava lake. The service is very unfriendly and prejudiced. The cottage we got was very dirty, clapped-out and we got only half of bedclothes, our friends preffered to use their sleeping bags. The price was definitely not adequate comparing to what we get. Owner expects people to do the full cleaning after stay including changing bedclothes, despite they give dirty room. Plates and cuttlery were dirty.

Very nice place. Not expensive, good for budget picnic and swimming of the weather allows. Lady in reception is too harsh and her way of talking to foreigners is way too offensive. But overall, good experience
