Awesome memorial place for the people who died in the mountains. The colorful painted crosses with folklore symbols are amazing.

This is a place full of emotions that I'm glad I decided to visit. Reading the names of the people who lost their lives to the mountains and at the same time sharing their passion, made me appreciate even more how precious life is.

The Symbolic cemetery by the Popradske pleso ( lake ) was founded in 1940 to remember all the victims of this beautiful mountains.
