Nice rooms, friendly service and great location in the centre of town. They offer Slovak wine tasting and even have an old mine shaft you can visit. Pool table and sauna spa were good as well - overall very much enjoyed staying here.

Actually we were literally downgraded to Cosmopolitan I. (the brother guest house, several minutes down the street). We booked one night in Cosmopolitan II., but when we arrived, the doors were locked. Nobody answered the given phone number as well. A nice waitress from a restaurant next door even tried to reach someone from the Pension privately without any success. She was also the one who gave us the hint that there's Cosmopolitan I. down the street, where we can try to find an answer to this situation. In Cosmopolitan I. the receptionist was also not knowing anything, but reached at least someone on the phone who told us that we were relocated from Cosmo II. to Cosmo I. "Would be better for us anyway, because we need a parking lot and Cosmo II. doesn't have." Well, first: then don't offer the place as if it had one. Second: LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE and don't let it be a scavenger hunt for us! The location of Cosmo I. is worse than II. The room was nice and clean, that to be said. The breakfast was also ok. WiFi didn't work!
If you are a mixed-nationality couple having a wedding in Slovakia and you want to have it in Slovakia's most romantic town, Banska Stivanica, then you MUST have it at one of the Cosmopolitan properties. Kristina and her staff were so amazing. We planned our wedding from the US and Kristina was super communicative with everything. When we were actually in Slovakia, four days before the wedding, Kristina went into super mode with amazing detail. We even had to do a last minute switch from Cosmopolitan 3 to 1! Aside from putting together amazing decorations (I didn't even ask for!), the food was so good! And the rooms for our traveling guests where very nice and the staff where very accommodating all of our friends and last minute room switches and additions. It really made the night so perfect. We are very grateful to them!

I really advice people to book a rent ať that plače. Plus the hotel provide u a card with discount 10% in restaurant, café...
Horrible living, the view is bad, the light and sound pollution is unbearable. I only stayed because I reserved the room for entire stay.
