The hostel had a lovely smoking room when I visited, just off the bar. I love being able to enjoy a smooth, smooth joe inside and not having to go outside when it is raining! Would 110% recommend this spot.

No complaints. The location is great. Directly across street is an excellent date cinema and Asian food Bistro. The area is full of low-cost alternatives. The hostel has 24hr reception, elevator, sizable kitchen, complete home-room, and shaded outdoor seating

I stayed in Patio Hostel, long time ago. However, I am not quite sure if they accept for long term (6-7 months) despite the policy that is just for few days, tourist hostel. I remember, they have couple private rooms. The rooms is clean (shared or not), bathrooms/toilets the same clean, kitchen & bar. All the guest in Patio Hostel, are friendly no matter which part of the world you come from. If someone knows, please reply on this issue of long term. Thank you.

Hostel is in pretty good conditions, new equipment, nice rooms but weekend nights are really noisy from all those people coming to drink in the bar downstairs, it’s annoying... also I want to recommend not to leave ur food in public fridge or kitchen since people steal it! Some people living here are not having enough money for living so they take what is not theirs! Not Hostel’s fault tho

Honestly this was a great hostel. No only did they provide you with towels. They also provided you with a little shampoo and soap packet. The sheets were really clean and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was also pretty big. The front desk people were extremely friendly and helpful when I had questions or needed something. The hostel also had an awesome kitchen. It was really big, and there was tons of availability to cook with different utensils. A group of us 4 made food and we saved time and money. Very convenient! They also have a pretty nice bar as well as two foosball tables. Pretty fun to play with a group. Would stay here in a heartbeat again when I get the chance.

Very functional hostel, which was clean and in a good location. Doesn't have huge amounts of character... it looks and feel a bit like a bit block of flats, but you're only here to sleep, right? It's located in a courtyard, so set back from the road and you have to enter through a kind of tunnel, but it's pretty easy to spot and feels safe enough. They could really do with getting some artists in there to paint the walks with murals and something other than white. The common room and basement bar are thankfully both good and the only parts of the building which actually make it feel or look like a hostel. Generally it was very quiet and peaceful while we were there, so apparently not a party hostel at all. Must say it was hard to get a smile out of the staff, which I think say a lot about a hostel and how fun it is to stay there. The hostel is also opposite a very nice arthouse cinema and bistro cafe, both are definitely recommended. Otherwise the old town is only a 5-10 minute walk away. And perhaps most importantly, the price of rooms/beds here is a bargain, so all round a good place to stay when in Bratislava. If you found my review helpful, please give me a thumbs up Thanks!

Hostel is all okay and nice but the price is absurdly high. Such hostels in Budapest start from 5 euros and here the cheapest option is 17 euros which I think is too much for Slovakia and for a low cost traveler .

I had a quiet stay there, despite being student accommodation. Laundry, luggage room, some community areas and kitchens are available.
