The NOTA BENE project offers a chance for homeless people to help themselves. It offers homeless and vulnerably housed people the opportunity to earn a legitimate income. NOTA BENE is a streetpaper, which vendors buy from us for 0.70 EUR and sell to the public for 1.40 EUR, keeping 0.70 EUR for themselves. Vendors must adhere to a code of conduct whilst selling the magazine. NOTA BENE is sold in 18 cities of Slovakia. The STREETWORK project supports vulnerable people on the streets of Bratislava. Every day (except Sunday), 2 streetworkers from 5 pm - 10 pm are out in the streets of Bratislava offering homeless people sleeping rough social advice, tea & cofee, clothes, basic health treatment or transport to the hospital. The KITCHEN SOUP project provides about 70 homeless people in Bratislava with a warm lunch 3 days a week during the winter or 2 days a week during the summer. The soup is cooked by volunteers and given out by streetworkers on 2 places of Bratislava.
