Bratislava Model United Nations (BratMUN) is a UN simulation annually taking place in Bratislava. Just as during any other MUN conference, secondary school students from all around the world are given the opportunity to serve as delegates for various countries and thus develop their skills of diplomacy and argumentation through discussion about issues of global significance. Founded in 2000 by a group of International Baccalaureate students at Gymázium Jura Hronca, 11 years after the Velvet revolution, there is a symbolical significance for all Slovak and Czech students for the conference to take place in November.
