The oldest church in Bratislava full of beautiful decorations, colourful windows with wonderful mosaics. The statues decorating the interior show the rich catholic history of this town and its importance in Hungarian kingdom in the past. I really enjoyed the small streets in the back of the cathedral. The cathedral itself is worth visiting and a must see point in Bratislava.
I love the charm of this cathedral and peace which l can find when l am there. Service is quite inspiring, the majestic pipe organ creates ceremonial and antiqued atmosphere especially, when one guy sings the psalm or choral in latin.
Cathedral \St. Martin \is one of the emblems of the city, built in the 13th century in Gothic style, it is the oldest, most exquisite and largest cathedral in Bratislava. It has crowned a total of 19 Hungarian kings and queens. It is located on the western border of the old city of Bratislava. The shape of the cathedral symbolizes the crucifixion. The church tower is 85 meters high and is part of the medieval fortress walls. At the top of the tower is a gilded duplicate of the Hungarian crown, weighing about 150 kg. The cathedral is built on a graveyard and large catacombs are preserved, some of which are at a depth of 6 m. In three paths, separated by voluminous Gothic columns and leading to an ensemble of statues depicting St. Michael as a Hungarian Hussar.
Unfortunately this cathedral is simply traditional slovak village's church just pretty big
Devote enough time, to enjoy the rich history “underground”; also read the panels with the “coronations record” ( one of the largest in Europe... in the World, actually ) . This and the Bratislava Castle are ‘a must visit’ attractions

Beautiful cathedral and still good in shape even after nearly 600 years of service. The inventory is amazing. 10/10 would recommend for everyone who is going to visit Bratislava.
