Clean room, kind and nice clerks breakfast was nice! However... the bed wasn't so confy.. and the trains.... all night... except these two it was a nice stay!!

Unplanned stopover, due to stormy conditions we where forced to pull over and seek a room. Initially the staff where welcoming and accommodating at 10pm (6.7.18) however, neither employees spoke any english. The following morning we headed out to town and on return at 3pm we found we didn't have any cold water, when I advised the day receptionist she expressed anger as to why I didn't tell her earlier as what was she supposed to do on a Saturday afternoon (when we just noticed). No uniform worn by staff, singlets are unacceptable by any standard. Same receptionist then advised it'll cost 11 per person to use the "B" grade pool for only one hour as she had another booking (we pay this amount for a "water park" all day anywhere in the world). This wellness spa should be run as a seperate business as it's deceitful and misleading on advertising. When requesting to speak to manager I was advised that the "director" was on holiday, leaving inexperienced staff on their own showing lack of concern for guests, employees require urgent training. Our "apartment" room didn't have a kitchenette or fridge. No lift, carried luggage for a family of 5 to level 3. Decent effort at restoring room however remaining of the hotel very dated. As an avid traveller who's stayed at hundreds of hotels, it's extremely disappointing that this type of prehistoric service still exist. This is the first time I've considered checking out of a hotel earlier, steady 2 star accommodation at best.

Clean, spacious rooms with working air conditioning, a good bed and a desk you can actually work at. The bath was clean and well fitted. Wifi working properly around the clock. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak servicable German and English (at least). 4 bus stations or a 15 minute walk from the Volkswagen plant (a little more if you need the main gate). The restaurant serves good food at very reasonable prices. Definitely a good place to stay if you have business at the VW plant.
Their restaurant does not look up-to-date and considering the prices of the meals, I was expecting a nicer interior (and nicer staff too). However, the food was delicious.
The bed is not specially comfortable. The breakfast is ok.
A correct hotel with nothing too good or too bad. Very close to the Volkswagen Bratislava plant.
