(ZTS - Research & Development) company comes from former ZTS factory, which was one of the most important engineering companies in Slovakia. Know-how of the company drew from the experience of former research institute VUHYM (Research Institute of hydraulic mechanisms). Engineering, hydraulics, machinery … this all continues the traditions of mechanical engineering in Dubnica nad Váhom. Our company is the only one in Slovakia dealing with recovery of present hydropower plants (especially of the Vah Cascade) and with designing new projects of small hydropower plants too. The company deals with projection, design, technology, production, installation and service of technical equipment for hydropower plants. The company also provide the research and development in the field of water turbines and their accessories. The worldwide trends and development in the field of hydropower engineering are aimed at increasing the effectiveness of present equipment of hydropower plants and at environmental protection improvement. This results in great challenges in the field of research, development and projection of hydropower machines, their upgrade and increasing their effectiveness.
