Last synagogue still opened in Bratislava. It's beautifully build with a museum inside. I recommend to visit!

A functioning Synagogue that is actually in use. Interesting exhibition on the first floor (the Ezrat Nashim)
Met with a Jewish man who lived thru German occupation and all the atrocities. Sad poignant story of his early life. Beautiful Art Deco structure with upper part used as a memorial to Hews lost here.
The synagogue is an important example of Slovak religious architecture of the 20th century and it is listed as a Slovak National Cultural Monument. It is one of only four active synagogues in Slovakia and historically one of three in Bratislava, the other two were demolished in the 20th century. The building also houses the Bratislava Jewish Community Museum, installed upstairs, with a permanent exhibition “The Jews of Bratislava and Their Heritage” which is open to the public during the summer season.
Wow! What we expected: A quick view into a synagogue for a small fee. What we got: Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, a small personal tour, an interesting and very well done exposition, and the view of a really interesting, unique cubist synagogue. I can only recommend a visit!
Nice synagogue with a tragic history
Interesting and educational. You can take a look at interior of synagogue and talk with rabbi about it architecture, history and Judaism culture.
Amazing experience, Am yisrael chai!!
