A 15th century castle in a royal town with a panorama of the Tatra Mountains in the background. Worth a visit.

Very nice place, wonderful festival, traditional food and beautiful hand craft works
I went here with excitement cause it's one of the only things to see in the area but as I went on with the tour it slowly died down. It doesn't have english tours and the tour itself was boring, the information was very flat and dry. This castle doesn't have anything special. I wouldn't recommend it for parents with children. but if you are a castle lover it's another one off your list I guess. (Entrance prices are very cheap)
It was closed at week.... but nice view...
A stop for a walk around and have lunch During our staying in Slovakia on our way to Lubovnia stopped in the city of Kežmarok to meet friends from Poland. Spend in the town app. 3 hours to see tle old town, the castle and to have a lunch. The city is quite calm, some places to have a drink and walk around without huge expectations but worth to stop in if you are in that area at least for an hour or two. The castle is a little but \over renovated\ ... we did not feel the history and the \spirit\ is more as a nice protocolar building with some history. The great surprise was the \Kežmarska Resturacia\. A town is worth to be visited and have a lunch there.
Good place to spend time during rainy days. There is guided tour each hour. You can't walk Castle on your own
Nice Castle, we had great guide :)
Another castle with historical exhibition, but nice.
