This is a nice place to go get a bite or a few beers with friends. It's definitely worth a visit even if you're not hungry. The place is huge and it's the oldest restaurant in Slovakia. At some point it also used to be the oldest brewery as well. It suffered some changes and remodeling across the centuries but you can still see and feel some of the historic atmosphere. The service is really fast, the staff speaks English and the prices are decent. The food was really good and the beer was probably one of the best I've had in Slovakia. Overall this is a really neat place.

Unfortunately my steak was almost well done and cold, die starters came at the same time as the main dishes except of one burge which took 20 min longer... but the food and beer tasted good.... the sec. Beer took them more than 15 minutes....
Good. Quick. Beer....food...go there. We dropped in for a.pint and some snacks. We got exactly that and at a fairly good price too. Can't say that the strong beer is overly potent but don't trust me - try it for yourself. The food is quick and pub-like. Just what we wanted. The service is lightning fast and inentrusive
Pretty good food but when it comes to beer I would expect more from the oldest brewery in Kosice.

Why come to Kosice and not pay a visit to one of the oldest restaurants in Slovakia. Really nice setting with great beer and there is a happy hour everyday from 14:00 to 18:00.
