What to do with synagogues in towns where no more Jews live? It's a difficult question. In this case, the synagogue was renovated very nicely and turned into an art school. From the Jewish point of view it is more important to keep the cemeteries intact than synagogues where no one prays. Once there are no holy objects such as Torah scrolls in the building, it has no holiness in and of itself. From the frum perspective there is nothing to be said against using it as a school.

Krásna budova, ktorá bohužiaľ pustne. Pred synagogou staré lavicky často obsadene bezdomovcami. Vysoká tráva okolo, pôsobí to veľmi zanedbané. Veľmi veľká škoda.
Krásna budova synagógy sa nachádza pri Lidli, takže nie je problém pri tomto mieste zaparkovať, je v Malackách napravo ako sa vychádza na diaľnicu, teraz sa využíva ako základná umelecká škola, takže dostať sa dovnútra je otázkou, v okolí sú aj iné mestské zaujímavosti ako podsvietená fontána, či františkánsky kostol, ktorý zvnútra dýcha históriou

Bola som tam na koncerte. Oplatilo by sa zainvestovať a opraviť priestory.
Das von dem Gutsbesitzerehepaar Simon und Cäcilie Spitzer gestiftete und vom Wiener Architekten Wilhelm Stiassny 1887 errichtete Gebäude im orientalisierenden Stil wurde 1899 durch einen Brand zerstört und vom selben Architekten 1900 wieder aufgebaut. Die mustergültig renovierte Synagoge wurde profaniert und dient sein den 80er Jahren als Kunstschule.
