Nice small pub in Martin with friendly staff, very tasty starter dishes, but cesar salad nothing special to be honest. Dish with duck dish was nice and tasty. They have very good beer is well.

Super cozy place with beautifull interior. Food was 5/5 we had wings and salmon. wide selection of delicious beers. staff was very helpful and friendly. We never visit the same place twice on our trips but this one is an exception. :-D
We visit this place 19.07.2020 and ordered beef tenderloin(part of beef) something, and after some time we were served with one transparent tiny slide of boiled beef leg, it still was beef, thanks on that. But it has nothing to do with quality food. Waitress seems stressed and unwelcoming even she told everything she supposed to. I’m dying to find good food and service at Martin
We visit this eatery at least once whenever we’re staying in Martin. Yesterday we had the worst service we’ve ever had at a restaurant in Slovakia. Our waiter got frustrated taking our order (four Americans with limited Slovak) and palmed us off on another server. When I wanted to order another drink, I attempted to signal her and she pointed to the first waiter, who proceeded to ignore us (and she couldn’t be bothered to tell him we wanted him). Love the food but there are plenty of authentic Slovak restaurants here so we would be hard-pressed to recommend this one ever again.

Very disappointing. I ordered the typical Svíčková. A disaster. The meat was hard, fat and I couldn't chew it. The dumpling were dry and uneatable. The food for my daughter the same. I was visiting my friends in Martin and they took me to this restaurant. I was supposed to invite them but they were so embarrassed regarding the quality they paid the bill behind my back! The only positive remark I can make is about the very lovely, polite and endeavoured waitress. It was therefore very disappointing because Svíčková is THE national dish and they screwed it totally up.
