Memorial to the heroic Bulgarian partisans who gave their lives for our freedom. Pamätník bulharských Partizan (Memorial of the Bulgarian Partisans), made by Sculptor F. David, Czechoslovak sculptor of Prague. (Signed: f. david 1949). Is a bronze sculpture of a Bulgarian partizan helping his wounded friend. The monument carries the Inscription on front and back edge of base plate: "kto padne v boji za slobodu, nezomiera тов, който падне в бой за свобода, той не умира..." (from Hristo Botev - Христо Ботев). Meaning: "Who falls in the struggle for freedom, does not die".
