A fully renovated concrete gunmen shelter built in 1937, operated by local volunteers. Equiped with functional item from the era. According to the guide, they plan to reconstruct the surroundings into the pre-WWII state... A guide with a deep and profound knowledge of the place, the shelter systems and corresponding historical events. Highly recommended.

Very interesting tour inside the B-S 4 bunker which is beeing restored to authentic condition. Recommended!!! Photos not allowed from the inside. The inside is the most interesting part.
So interesting, historical place. You may see how a concept doesn't match forever, how time that passes eats people's ideas. Bunkers, borders.... must see place.
Amazing place. It is surrounded by history of former Czechoslovakia. This bunker was visited by Herr Hitler and he was amazed by build quality. Bunker was renovated by volunteers. Insides are filled up with machine guns, anti tank gun which is still under the renovation. Original one was demounted and used in one of the bunkers in St. Malo in France against the allies on the D day. All rooms are filled with historical equipment from tools to beds and working airfiltration engine. Guys are able to speak in English language too. We were lucky to experience live shooting from all guns inside the bunker. It was amazing. Parking is just before Austrian border towards Hainburg. Main bunker is around 400m on the right just follow the cycling path.
