We did the chamois and marmot tour (about 6 hours). We did a beautiful hike in the mountains. The vistas and views alone are worth the tour. We saw a beautiful chamois family with 3 little ones up close. After a short search we also found 3 marmots. Erik is one of the nicest and best guides we have had. For us and our children aged 6, 9 and 12 the highlight of our 5 days in the beautiful Tatra Mountains.

We (myself and 11 and 12 year old kids) spent one day cross-country skiing and another snowshoeing with Erik in the High Tatras near Ždiar. We had the best time both days. Erik picked us up right at our lodging, got us squared away with rentals, and right to the trailheads. Not only were the locations beautiful, but we learned so much about the area and Slovakia. It’s nice having a local show you their backyard, which they truly love. Erik was great with instruction, so even if you haven’t skied or snowshoes before, you’d do great. He was patient with our need for frequent snack breaks and great with the kids. He even helped me plan what to do without him the next day. And he was helpful with the pre-planning - how to get where we were going etc. The High Tatras Mountains are gorgeous and I highly recommend getting out and exploring them with Adventoura Slovakia.
I had a chance to be a part of igloo building adventure, also we stayed there over night. If you search for winter trip, definitelly book this one, Erik was great host for it. Will book more tours in summer with him. Thanks.

Overall we had a good day snowshoeing on the mountains in the eastern High Tatras. The gear was top notch and the scenery was beautiful.
If you really want to explore the REAL Slovakia there can't be a better person to show you around than Adventura Slovakia. Erik goes out of his way to make you comfortable and show the beauty of High Taters. The stay, food, tours everything was top class. I did a lot of activities with his company like a half day hike in High Tatras, cycling in the Tarra National Park for bear watching ethically, river rafting in a river that divides Poland and Slovakia, horse carriage ride in the countryside followed by a traditional Goral (Shepherd) barbecue sausages on open grill, muelled wine and tea in a very small village outskirts, rock climbing near castle and a lot of other things. I highly recommend his services.
Erik Sevcik and Adventoura Slovakia were a priceless addition to our trip of a lifetime. We achieved all the goals of our trip, reconnecting with family in Eastern Slovakia, touring the great capitals of Prague, Krakow, Salzburg & Venice, adventuring and relaxing in the incomparable SlovakTatra region...seamlessly and on a reasonable budget because of Erik's commitment to working with us on perfecting our itinerary. We couldn't have done it without him and it definitely wouldn't have been as much fun! I couldn't recommend him more highly.
