The Holy Trinity Column is a religious column dedicated to the Christian Holy Trinity, a popular subject and theme for a monument in Czech Republic and Slovakia for celebrating the end of the Plague. Every city in this region seems to have one and Bratislava is no exception. The depiction of the Trinity is fairly standard, with a central column topped with the Holy Trinity. At the base of the column are sculptures of saints, the one unusual thing is that there are two two more sculptures of saints separate from the central column. There’s also a low wall enclosing the column The column can be found on the western edge of Bratislava Old Town, close to the end of Hviezdoslavovo Square. Take a look if in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to see it.

The starting and ending point of our walking tour started with this landmark. The column is quite visible and easy to spot if you need a meeting place. Area around the column is spacious but kinda lonely as people pass through this sector quickly to get to the historic area. No signs or description around here so one has to rely on a tour guide or map to get a sense of what the Holy Trinity Column is all about.
A nice sculpture in the city centre
Historic monumanet near Hviezdoslavovo námestie..its a must visit area for tourists with plenty to find arround..
Beautiful column on the edge of town, but very well in the local area and within walking distance.
Good back story, not very large statue.
Nice monument but not out of common.
