I stayed there with my wife for 2 days. The building is very nice from the outside and the inside. The quality of the food is good and the pool is a nice plus. But there are also bad things to mention: you have to pay extra fee for the pool: 76 Euro for 2 days for 2 persons! You also have to pay for other activities which are included in the room-price in other hotels. Another bad thing is the competence of the employees. I ordered water with gas and i got water without gas. interesting fact: the hotel is just some minutes away form the austrian border but the employee did not speak any german or english language. just slovak language and obviously she did not understand what i am talking about. after she serverd ther first water without gas i ordered another bootle and explained in detail that i want water with gas. and after some minutes she returned again with a bottle of water without gas. so the service was very slow and bad. There is no waiter or waitress in the dinner room during breakfast or dinner. you always have to wait ages until a waiter shows up to reorder another drink. So we have -1 star for the service and -1 star for the extra payments and the 3rd star that i am removing is for the rooms and the surroundings. The rooms are very small and there is nothing to do except going for a walk. The air condition is that loud that is not even possible to wach tv. To sum it up. The building looks nice but if you want real 5-star feeling then you better go straight to the Bratislava city where you can find better hotels for less money.

We enjoyed our stay and it was fun to stay at a beautiful venue with such gorgeous grounds and facilities. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed having breakfast and lemonades outside. Mini golf was fun, as was walking the grounds and seeing the deer. We also enjoyed the area in general. It was frustrating that you have to pay 20,00 per person, per day to use the pool (we partially stayed there to enjoy the pool and sun - we definitely did not do so) and online booking.com, it says there is a wine bar and even lists opening hours, but the wine bar is actually not open. The air conditioning in our room was quite weak, so it was a hotter two nights than anticipated, but okay. We also tried to arrange a massage, but were not able to do so. It was a nice and romantic stay, but the fees ended up being a bit frustrating.
We stayed at Kastiel for two nights (two adults and two children) for the wedding. Shouts to the Chef and his team, food is just amazing! Regarding hotel segment some thigs could be worked on (for example more content for kids.. since there is more than enough space around hotel), etc., so 4*. All in all - would recommend this place!
Boutique hotel on the outskirts of Bratislava is a delight. Try some local wine here.
An absolute amazing place for a marriage. Everything was perfectly organized and the food was divine.
Quite disorganised, we got there and they told us we must wait 1 hour to get menus followed by 1 hour for food. Bad first experience for me. Hope I can try again in the future.
Beautiful for weddings. Rooms are relatively new and facilities good (pool, grounds etc). Staff was friendly and helpful when I misplaced my phone. Breakfast was a disappointment though - that needs to change. Also, hard to order a taxi there so plan ahead.
Great hotel, had a lovely visit with my family. Thank you.
