Good for kids
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
The tower allows you to look over the site of a huge tank battle between the Germans and Russians, and at 1 entry it's a decent place to visit. There is a small but well laid out museum on the bottom floor, and a lift or stairs to the viewing gallery, but honestly the views themselves are pretty but not well explained so the historical impact is minimal. During covid times they are operating a 1 out 1 in policy, and seem to have no more than 10-15 people in at a time, so we had to queue for over an hour. There are wheelchair ramps for access, but they are so steep that I saw a wheelchair user opt to bump down the stairs rather than use the ramp... All in all the military cemetery and monument down the road is more interesting.

It is closed for public but It is possible to schedule private tour.
An interesting, if small, exhibition that gives you a very clear idea of the bloodshed that went on during the second world war. Very cheap entry (2 Euros). Don't worry about parking at the bottom of the hill - there's a car park right at the top.
Must visit for ppl interested in history. Enthusiastic museum guides who give you a lot of information if you ask. Terribly underfunded. To the Slovakian, Czech and Russian Governments and the EC: Support the museum, it’s about European history and unity.
