If you are looking for a melt-in-your-mouth meal for Lunch or Dinner, the Restaurant Al Lago inside Hotel Solisko is a perfect location. The restaurant also hosts a lovely, plentiful Breakfast Buffet, although I'm unsure whether it is open to the public or only guests. The wait staff is superlative, attentive in every way, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to please. The views of the lake and mountains from the restaurant are exquisite and relaxing. Restaurant Al Lago is a top-notch dining experience at a fraction of the cost of dining in more trafficked cities in Central Europe. You will be delighted!

Terrible service---we came with our five-year old son and the waitress wanted to kick us out immediately and very impolitely despite the free table in front of us and freezing temperatures outside (and telling her that our son was feeling very cold). On the other hand, she did care about her daughter who got lunch way before all the customers. Not to mention that the pizza is very bad, basically a fondue with ketchup (way too much cheese, nothing to do with an Italian pizza).

In winter you can hardly find more romantic place to have a dinner in the stylish old hotel with a superior view on the lake and the mountains. Next to the restaurant hall there is a game room for kids attended with a nice staff. Local craft beer available.

The good: kids corner. Big portions of food. The bad: you cannot order risotto if you order 1 risotto portion only (yes you read it correctly). For the price the quality was not there. The food was not bad but would need to cost less for me to increase stars (or increase quality)
