A wonderful new craft beer bar/cafe in Bratislava. Situated between the castle and the old town it's a perfect location to reach easily. There is a wide range of draft and bottled beers, very friendly waitresses (and maybe waiters but there weren't one when I was there). From the outdoor seating you've got a the "UFO" an parts of the old town. The best is, that the prices are ok, too.

One of the first craft beer pubs in Bratislava. 8 beers on tap, 6 of them change regularly. While some of them are not cheap compared to an average price of a pint of lager in Bratislava, they always have several that could be considered cheap for city center. And I am of course talking about real tasty beer from small private breweries, not eurobeer crap you get in most places in Czechoslovakia. The food is quite nice but not exactly cheap. The place looks good and there is a smoking section and outdoor seating. A big plus are the competent pleasant waitresses. So pretty much all good. The only negative is that the place is usually busy in the evenings and you need to reserve a table. But as they say: what you want, others will want too ;-)

We've come back from the Castle and the Treppe was the first option for lunch. They offer the daily menu for 4,99 and it was a great choice. They had one type of soup (pumpkin)- delicious, by the way and three main courses with you can choose from. We tried all of them and everything was good and tasty. They couldn't offer a menu in English, but one of the staff members offer to translate it for us. Nice place, nice people!
