Nice ski resort surrounded by nature. Pretty empty during Christmas, however, it uses to be quite full the week after Christmas - without pandemics. The tickets are quite expensive. This year it is generally less overcrowded, which makes this place even more attractive. Tatranská Lomnica is a beautiful town right near the ski resort.

A must-see when in the Tatras! We rode up and down the cable car, but if you have the right clothes and shoes, consider walking part of the way up or down. Amazing panoramic view. Get coffee at the lodge and relax before heading back down. Please \like\ my review if you found it helpful.

Overall great experience. Easy transportation using an electric train from one destination to another for variety of hikes. Nice long hikes of many degrees of difficulty. Awesome animal and plant life along with many glacier lakes. Great Slovakian local specialities all around. It's a must. You will need Euros.

High Tatras Is a hidden Gem! The nature is beautiful and still has some wild aspects. At the same time, Facilities offered by Tatry authorities are Great!

Expensive to go up or down and long waiting times. Very badly organized. When returning you have to get in line to get the deposit back you had to pay for the card which holds the allowed rides. There is just one machine... I found the staff quite unfriendly. The views are okay but not mindblowing. Eating and drinking is for Slovak standards relatively expensive. The hiking paths are quite often not more than rock paths and rather steep from time to time. Parking is free though.
