Ate here twice for lunch. Absolutely gorgeous place. Traditional Slovakian food. Great friendly service. Located next to the Grand Hotel. Very busy and popular with locals. Would 100% recommend.
The cosy restaurant in Starý Smokovec is one of the most popular place to eat in the High Tatras. Nice interior includes wooden furniture, bar grill and terrace. We tried deer steak on blackberry sauce with rosemary potato and traditional Slovak food - bryndzové halušky (gnocchi with sheep cheese and bacon). The food was delicious, prices reasonable. The staff was nice and attentive. The restaurant is children-friendly.
