My favourite place in Slovakia skii park for families with kids. Komfortable slopes for all kind skiers. Sometimes the slopes are not clean. On vacation, holidays there are a lot of people in the park. It is a popular place:) there are bars, cafe with vareno vino

Great place to ski or ride your bike on a bike trail from the peak of Malino Brdo down to the apartments of Hrabovo. It's a must in Slovakia. You won't be disappointed with the difficulty of the trail or the steepness of hills in case of skiing. Chair lift available.
We were there on 20.01.20. On arrival we bought full day passes and took the gondola. To our surprise only one ski run was open (the one between the end of the gondola and the very top). This meant that you couldn't ski down to the bottom but you have to take the gondola again. Essentially that was only a third of the ski center capacity available. We were not even made aware of that pitiful situation the ski center is, for we had we would have probably not spent 27 euro each to ride on one single short run for all of the day!! On my attempt to complain, I was meat with lift operators who clearly showed that it is not their business. My advice is check is the runs are open as there is no such info at the ticket station before you go and buy a ski pass.

Quite a nice ski/bike resort. Close to the city centre. An easy walk from the Ružomberok city centre takes about 2 hours. Beautiful location on a mountain saddle. Lot of mountain flowers on the meadows. The beauty of the nature partially was damaged by construction of a huge timber restaurant / bar. There are some five hotels and restaurants in the resort, but all of them close in Spring season. No option for food and drink in low season. Why?
