Nice place for a one day trip. You can buy sunflower seeds in Muráň village info center, so you have some proper food for ground squirrels. There are also donkeys who will like to eat an apple or carrot . You can get by car really close to the meadow. When you are patient and lucky squirrels will come really close and even eat from your hand. We wanted to go around the electric fence, but the path ends in the forest. Anyway, surroundings are really nice and animals are cute.

Lovely place to watch animals. However the road going to the place was damaged during rain-storm lately. Therefore you must park your car on the side of the road and then walk to the place, it's about 1km.

Both children and adults alike will love the experience. Just go and visit, you will not find anything like it anywhere. You cam feed the small creatures almost from the palm of your hand, and there are hundreds of them. And the best thing is that it is all free of charge.
